Why should ‘I’ care about Living Green? part 1
Me, Myself and I, are the most important people I know....oops, did I say that out loud?! That's supposed to be 'inner dialogue' information that only the most important VIPs (that would be Me, Myself and I) are privy too. Anyway, what is such a big deal about living green anyway? Once I am done with something, that's just it, 'I' (Me and Myself too), am done! I don't want to see it, store it, transport it, or even know about it; just get it the heck out of here! If its small, throw it … [Read more...]

Living Green in California blows away national average!
Living Green is a way of life in California! While many in our golden state may still be in the dark about recycling, California as a whole blows away the nation when it comes to responsible electronics recycling. The national average is reported to be somewhere between 10-20% of all electronics discarded are recycled. This means that the other 80%+ goes where exactly??? More than likely, it goes into the ground via the landfills. You might ask what this does to their local … [Read more...]

Smaller Water Bottle Caps – Really??
Have you noticed the new marketing piece that some bottled water companies are touting? Smaller bottle caps, less plastic. How about stainless steel or plastic reusable water bottles and no plastic water bottles at all? Sorry bottled water companies, but it's time. That was not an easy transition for us. We were water bottle addicts, buying the jumbo cases at the ginormous local warehouse shopping place. We would fill garbage bag after garbage bag with empty water bottles. But, hey, we … [Read more...]
